6+ years building the world's most demanding products — including Apple iPhone NPI at Foxconn & Pegatron. Master of Engineering Management, University of Leicester — awarded with Distinction.
Master of Engineering Management — University of Leicester. Full-time study on the Leicester campus, completed 23 June 2026.
Programme focus: systems engineering, project & portfolio management, operational excellence, cost & risk, and sustainability across the engineering lifecycle.
Hands-on NPI engineering at Foxconn and Pegatron — the manufacturing backbone behind iPhone 12 mini through iPhone 17 and SE 4th Gen. Now combining that operational depth with strategic engineering management.

I picked up The Science of Interstellar during my mechanical engineering degree expecting a glossy companion to the film. It turned out to be a working physicist's notebook — Kip Thorne showing his working, equations and all, for how the black hole and the tesseract were derived from Einstein's general relativity.
The big idea stayed with me: beauty in engineering is just a correctly solved equation, viewed from the right angle. The Endurance docking sequence, Cooper Station's rotation, the gravity on Miller's planet — none of it is poetry. It's all consequence.
I've carried that lens everywhere since. At Pegatron it meant trusting the SPC chart before the senior engineer's gut. At Foxconn it was asking which single variable, if we could just stabilise it, collapses all the downstream noise? In my Leicester dissertation it became the core question — not "which technology is best?" but "which decision, made now, pays off three missions from now?"
"Find the constraint. Solve the equation. Then look again."
— The lesson I keep on my deskA film about love, time, and a tesseract behind a bookshelf. Watched in 2019 — and it has been quietly shaping every engineering decision I've made since.
I was in the middle of my mechanical engineering degree when I first saw Interstellar. I expected a space movie. I came out with something closer to a worldview.
What hit me wasn't the wormhole or the Endurance — it was Cooper reaching across dimensions to his daughter through gravity itself. A system engineered so precisely that love became a measurable force. That is engineering as poetry. That is what I decided I wanted to spend my life doing.
Scientifically, it taught me to trust the maths before the intuition — Kip Thorne's black hole was rendered from Einstein's equations before anyone made it beautiful. Logically, it taught me to design for the long horizon — Cooper Station wasn't built in a sprint; it was the sum of a thousand right decisions made under constraint, by people who would never see them land.
Emotionally, it's the first piece of art that made me cry at a differential equation. Every project since has carried a fragment of it.
"We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars. Now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt."
— Cooper. The sentence I pinned on my first desk at Pegatron.
You can see it in the work. The TARS Bag wasn't just named for the robot — it was built on the same philosophy: a quiet, useful companion engineered for the person who would use it. The Telegram redesign borrowed Interstellar's visual language — spare, dark, physics-first, every pixel earning its place like every joule on the Endurance.
At Apple's iPhone NPI at Foxconn and Pegatron, the lesson showed up again: the engineer's job isn't to admire the system — it's to find the one gravitational pull that bends everything else.
Not a reading list. A list of books that genuinely rewired an opinion, a method, or a decision.
The physics textbook disguised as a love letter. Taught me that mathematical rigour and emotional truth are not opposites — they're often the same equation.
Reframed my engineering mindset — a system doesn't need a designer to exhibit design. Elegance can emerge from constraint.
The idea that the "unit of design" might be smaller than I thought — genes, memes, process steps. Made me think about manufacturing in those units too.
Not for the argument it famously makes — but for the rigour of how it argues. A masterclass in interrogating assumptions.
The clearest demonstration that small, patient, iterative pressure beats any master plan. Lean manufacturing is just Darwin on a factory floor.
Reminded me that stories move production lines as much as engineering drawings do.
The book I return to when a project is punishing. Frankl's quiet idea — that we can always choose our response — is the most engineering-shaped sentence outside an engineering book.
I'm the host and content writer of Scientifically Tamil — a Tamil-language YouTube channel making modern science accessible to a native-language audience. From quantum mechanics to engineering stories, written and narrated with the same rigour I bring to the factory floor.
